Summer Band Practice "Band Camp"

This is the tentative schedule for Brass, Woodwinds and Percussion. Color Guard will get a schedule after Winter Guard season.

Pre-camp: July 22-26th
Percussion: Mon-Fri. 9-12pm and 1:30-5pm
Brass and Woodwinds: M, T, TH 6-9:30pm & FRI 1-5pm

Band camp: July 29-Aug. 9th
*Mon. thru Fri. 1-4pm and 6-9:30pm
Except Wed. will be 1-5pm- no evening rehearsal

Post-Camp: August 12-16th
M, T, TH 6-9:30pm & Wed 3-6pm
Fri. Aug 16th - Meet the Rebel Regiment night - time TBA

 

* July 29-Aug 9th- The band room lobby will be open during dinner break if students want to bring food and stay on campus during that time- there will be staff on duty
Leadership/planning session (for officers only) will be July 18-19 (times TBA) Friday, Aug. 23rd (mini-camp or rain date for meet the Rebel Regiment) Percussion will have a mini-camp July 9-11 from 3-6pm
Band handbooks and a full season schedule will be given out after spring break. The handbook will detail attendance policies and include overall information. The summer schedule was designed with input from upperclassmen and staff. Attendance to each rehearsal will be crucial to the success of the band. Let’s make the commitment to be there for every practice so we can have an amazing season!

If you believe in yourself and have dedication and pride - and never quit, you'll be a winner. The price of victory is high but so are the rewards.

Spring Training
May 13, 14  -  3:45-5:45 Band Room/Practice Field


Spring Preview Night - May 16th

4:00pm      Practice (Band room/practice field)
6:30pm      Pizza/snacks/drinks for band (provided)
6:30pm      Parent Meeting with new director - Cafeteria


The 2013 Rebel Regiment will give its first performance of the year for parents in the cafeteria following the meeting (Approx. 7:15pm)  Event will conclude by 7:45pm

Berry Shoals Band concert will be at 6pm in the Fine Arts Center - It will be completed by 7pm for those wishing to attend both performances.  We will have info packets for all parents that cannot attend the meeting.
